Welcome to the website of Mapp for Congress (“Campaign,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mapp for Congress website, including all pages, features, forms, donation links, content, and services made available through the site (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
This Site is provided for informational, civic engagement, volunteer, communications, and fundraising purposes in support of Mapp for Congress. The Site may include campaign updates, issue positions, volunteer opportunities, event information, contact forms, donation links, and other materials related to the campaign.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You may use this Site only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

We strive to keep Site content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times. Campaign positions, event details, endorsements, schedules, and other information may change without notice.
Content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
4. Donations
The Site may provide links to third-party donation processors, including ActBlue or other fundraising platforms. Donations made through those platforms are processed by the applicable third party and are subject to that third party’s own terms, privacy practices, and security procedures.
By making a contribution, you represent and warrant that:

the contribution is made from your own funds and not from the funds of another person or entity for the purpose of making the contribution;

you are making the contribution voluntarily;

the contribution complies with all applicable federal laws and regulations, including Federal Election Commission requirements;

the information you provide in connection with the contribution is truthful and accurate.
All contributions are subject to applicable campaign finance laws. Contributions may not be deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
The Campaign reserves the right to refuse, reattribute, redesignate, or refund any contribution if necessary to comply with applicable law.
5. Volunteer and Contact Form Submissions
If you submit information through the Site, including through volunteer forms, event forms, sign-up forms, or contact forms, you agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information.
By submitting information to us, you authorize the Campaign and its representatives to contact you regarding campaign-related matters, including volunteer opportunities, events, voter outreach, fundraising, and campaign updates, subject to your communication preferences and applicable law.
Submission of a volunteer form or other inquiry does not guarantee acceptance into any volunteer role, attendance at any event, or receipt of any campaign benefit.
6. Text Messages and Mobile Communications
If you provide your mobile number, check a consent box, text a campaign keyword, or otherwise opt in to receive text messages, you consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded campaign-related calls and text messages from or on behalf of Mapp for Congress at the number provided, including informational, volunteer, event, voter outreach, and fundraising messages, where permitted by law.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of making a contribution.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at 908-356-0397.
You represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
7. Email Communications
If you sign up for emails, submit a form, donate, or otherwise provide your email address, you may receive campaign emails from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in campaign emails or by contacting us directly.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, design elements, videos, photographs, campaign slogans, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Mapp for Congress and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, or print content from the Site solely for personal, noncommercial, and lawful use related to learning about or supporting the campaign. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, display, publish, create derivative works from, or exploit Site content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.
9. User Content and Feedback
If you submit comments, messages, testimonials, suggestions, photos, videos, or other materials to the Campaign through the Site or in response to a campaign request, you grant the Campaign a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, and share that content in connection with campaign activities, subject to applicable law and our privacy practices.
You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any law or the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove or decline any submission for any reason.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
This Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, and services, including donation processors, social media platforms, video hosting services, and other campaign tools. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, terms, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party website or service.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, these Terms will control with respect to Site use, and the Privacy Policy will control with respect to data handling practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Campaign disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapp for Congress and its officers, staff, volunteers, agents, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100), or the amount you paid us through the Site in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
